Dish soap, or anything not sold as dishwasher detergent, produces enough foam to push water out around the door on the very first cycle — it is the single most common leak we are called to and it is not a repair. If it is not that, dry the floor, put paper down, and run a short cycle while watching the front of the door. Then open the door and look at the seal all the way around for grit, a tear, or a flattened section where something in the rack has been pressing against it.
What it usually means, by the kind of machine
